Eligibility and account authority
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the organization associated with a merchant or internal account. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized use.
Access is limited by tenant, role, approval status and active feature flags. Creating an account does not approve a merchant, campaign, funding transfer, award, claim or card.
Platform role and service boundaries
RebateCardX is technology operated by TC Financial Resources LLC. Neither is a bank, card issuer, merchant acquirer or card network. We do not attribute any unconfirmed issuing-program role to the operator.
Card issuance, identity verification, regulated account services and any applicable deposit or funds protections are provided only by the entities named in the final merchant, cardholder and provider documents for an approved program. No website statement replaces those documents.
Merchant responsibilities
A merchant using the platform is responsible for its campaign instructions, lawful customer notices, commerce source data, authorized users and sufficient prefunding.
- Only submit US programs, eligible US participants and USD amounts unless a signed amendment expressly permits otherwise.
- Do not activate a campaign until KYB, required reviews, provider assignment, budget approval and funding gates are complete.
- Do not submit complete payment-card credentials, unnecessary customer data, unlawful content or information the merchant lacks authority to process.
- Honor the published campaign promise and provide accurate order, fulfillment, return and refund events.
Awards, returns and claims
An award is evaluated only after full fulfillment under the approved campaign version. A return request may place an award on hold. A refund before issuance may reduce or revoke the award. A refund after issuance may open a manual recovery case; it does not authorize an automatic debit from a cardholder.
An award is not cash, a deposit or a card until all applicable campaign, verification, consent, funding and issuance requirements are complete. Expiration, permitted use, limits and restrictions are stated in the applicable campaign and cardholder terms.
Merchant billing and program funds
Software subscription and usage charges are separate from merchant prefunding, reserves, rebate value, issuer or network fees and settlement. Shopify App Pricing charges, where used, are governed by the approved Shopify charge and do not fund card issuance.
Amounts are represented in integer cents and USD. A portal balance is an operational projection; the authoritative program ledger and applicable provider records control financial reconciliation.
Acceptable use and developer access
You may not evade access controls, probe another tenant, interfere with service, submit malicious code, misuse a webhook, share API credentials, misrepresent an award or card, or use the platform for unlawful, deceptive, sanctioned or prohibited activity.
API clients must use issued credentials, signed webhooks, idempotency keys and concurrency headers as documented. Rate limits and access may be changed or suspended to protect users, funds, providers or the platform.
Availability, suspension and changes
We may suspend access or a financial feature when required for security, compliance, insufficient funding, provider availability, investigation or breach of applicable terms. Provider, network and commerce services may be unavailable independently of the platform.
General website material is informational and may change. Binding pricing, service levels, support, liability and termination terms are stated in the merchant agreement or another signed document. Mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
Ownership and contact
The RebateCardX software, documentation, design and marks are owned by or licensed to TC Financial Resources LLC. A merchant retains its data and grants the rights needed to provide, secure and support the service. Feedback may be used to improve the platform without identifying confidential merchant information.
